Happy Birthday Sweetie

Dear Adhi,

I chose to write this to you to let u know how special you are on this special day.

Dear Darling, I don’t know if you understand what am trying to tell you also, but you have been my strength from day 1, a reason for my existence.

From a cranky crying girl, I transformed as a mom because of you.

You have taught me tolerance
You have taught me patience
You have taught me diligence
you have made me strong during tough times

When the going gets tough, the tough gets going, but I got going because of you.

I have been very harsh to you at times, very unreasonable, not understanding your childish petty things, have thrown tantrums at you due to my work & other pressures.

You have seen lots of down times with us, But you have handled everything at ease.

At this age you amaze me with your control over your feelings, your maturity in handling situations, the way you care for your brother, the way you understand my pains and frustrations.

You have an amazing capacity to learn things effortlessly and Darling I promise today to take you to heights and support you in your future.

I love you.

With lots of love & hugs

Amma

Life Without Kids

This is my first blog and I wanted to leave this for my two lovely little devils to show that I at least tired to be a “Best Mom” and aspirations to become the BEST Mom.

Amma – The Best…..This is my Goal / objective / mission / vision in life.

Whenever my kids think of me – I wanted the “BEST” tag for myself in everything I do.

This Dussera holidays, I left my kids @ mom’s place in Chennai and staying away from them for the last 7 days… I in fact was waiting for a break like this as I always have a big list of pending tasks.

But I could hardly complete any, my world has become stand still these 7 days.  I had the luxury of watching whatever I wanted on TV, could listen to my own music, got up late, no feeding  sessions wow… I was so impressed and patted myself for the break and started my Sunday with a hot cup of coffee and planned for a shopping & movie time with hubby and yes had a lovely time.

Next day started off the emptiness………oh what is this… Why the hell am missing my kids, when I always wanted some ME TIME without the little ones but I was wrong… I started missing them terribly… My daughters’ Ammmmmmmma….. Missssssss You.. Muuuuuuuaahh.. added fuel to the fire and my son who is staying away for the first time – tried to adjust in mom’s place without me and didn’t even ask “where is amma” even once was actually hurting me more L

Days which used to fly before it moving @ a snail pace now…..

Can’t wait to see them now….am travelling tonight and will be with my little ones tomorrow….

Love

Vidhya
